Liverpool FC are set to host Copa del Rey 2024 winners Athletic Club in a high-profile club-friendly at Anfield, as both sides look to fine-tune their squads ahead of the new season.
The Premier League champions come into this fixture with strong momentum, having recently defeated Yokohama FM in the J League World Challenge Final at the Nissan Stadium. New signing Florian Wirtz made an immediate impact, scoring alongside youngsters Ngumoha and Nyoni.
